Using Travel Mode

Travel Mode (Premium) packs chosen documents into a separate offline capsule that opens with a short PIN — no vault password needed at the counter — and destroys itself after the trip.

Pack a capsule

1. Open Settings → Travel Mode → Pack (on Android also from the sign-in screen; in the web app from the Premium hub).
2. Select the documents the trip needs — passport, visa, insurance, tickets.
3. Set a PIN (6+ digits in the browser) and the trip end date.
4. Done. The capsule lives beside the vault; the vault itself stays locked.

Use it on the road

• From the app's sign-in screen choose Travel Mode and enter the PIN — no password, works in airplane mode.
• View or share the packed documents as needed.
• Five wrong PINs wipe the capsule — not the vault. Re-pack it any time from home.

After the trip

When the end date passes, the capsule is purged automatically at the next app start. You can also end it early with End trip.

Security notes

• The capsule key is wrapped by your PIN (Argon2id), never by your vault password — a seized capsule reveals nothing about the vault.
• On Android the capsule is additionally bound to the device's hardware keystore: copying the files to another device makes them useless.
• Pack only what the trip needs. Border scenarios are exactly why the capsule is separate from your full vault.
